How to use Plant-Based Sweeteners

White and brown table sugars are refined, meaning they have gone through a chemical process that removes impurities and beneficial nutrients.

High fructose corn syrup is a chemically altered refined product with the same health consequences as table sugar and is in almost everything. Refined sugars cause the body to store fat, are devoid of beneficial nutrients and, may increase the risk of high blood pressure and diabetes.

Unrefined alternatives contain beneficial nutrients and may have fewer adverse health effects.

using natures ingredients

Sweeteners I use come straight from the earth, are plant-based and are all natural!

  • Coconut Nectar
  • Maple
  • Coconut Sugar
  • Erythritol
  • Vanilla Stevia Drops
  • Medicine Flower Extracts
  • Dates, Figs
  • Dried Cherries
  • Raisins
  • Cranberries
  • Brown Rice Syrup
  • Goji Berries
  • Fresh Fruits & Berries – locally sourced when and where possible.

I have chosen these particular types of sweeteners as they are lower on the GI spectrum and make you feel full for longer. Keeping you from overindulging on the sweets with all of those nasty sugars. Every ingredient is carefully chosen for its nutritional content and flavor.
